I don't know if this comment belongs here, but I've been thinking about why my friends and acquaintances cling to their faith in vaccines. I don't think this is a simple narrative of fools and idiots falling for dumb propaganda which can be exposed through rational argument. Unless you love them, they will rightfully refuse to listen. They will listen if you approach in good faith--but you are asking them to leave a community where they feel supported and protected. Yes, listen to me so that you, too, can get interred in the concentration camps being built for dangers dissenters like me. It's too upsetting to contemplate the loss of all your security, all your approval from government authorities (you are such a good boy--such a good girl! No one can reject you or hurt you. This is the pact from accepting parental authority. Scary to go against it!)
